Training Tiny Tots To Turn Off The Lights
At least in August there is less likelihood of needing all he lights to be on at the same time – I can’thelp noticing when the autumn weather arrives and families start using the lights more, every light bulb in the house seems to be illuminated at the same time. It’s all the more noticeable when the curtains or blinds are still open and the world is welcome to view everything the family is up to. Keeping an eye on this wastage is critical these days – not only from the point of view of saving money – quite a lot over a 6 month winter period when up to 20 of the 30 lights bulbs on at any one time are actually unnecessary! There is the small point about members of the family respecting the bill payer’s generosity paying the lighting bill – so from when they are tiny tots, reminding them constantly to turn the lights off as they leave a room will eventually sink in!
