Home Lighting Needs To Lift The Mood & Make Good
We live in a small township, in fact our houses are the last of the big executive detached style from the early 2000s before the need to downsize became the bye word in house building. The town houses of today are generally much narrower and have 3 floors, some with underground garage, but more likely none at all. The lighting schemes are all eco friendly on the new estates too – none of the glowing up skywards, it’s all low energy lighting, pointing downwards with only as much as is needed for the purposes. Yet when my first house was built, there was no electricity and therefore no lights. It was a funny dark little place, the staircase seemed to loom enormous as one approached the front door and even with the biggest bulb in the hall, it always seemed oppressive. Lighting is so important for raising moods as well as making one feel safe.
